Ward Christmas Party

We had tithing settlement before the ward Christmas party, so Miss Adelaide was dressed up pretty!

Don't judge, but sometimes I let Deacon watch TV while he's eating. And when I say sometimes, I mean several mornings a week. The condition is, he has to stay on the tile and not eat in the living room. So he started dragging his chair to the edge where the tile meets carpet and starts eating.

Now, Addy doesn't understand what the purpose of this is. All she knows is that she wants to be just like her big brother. So she drags her chair over a few feet and plops down to eat.

And she completely miss the point (and her mouth, as apparent by all the food she spilled on the carpet).

Kitchen Helper

Addy is such a helper in the kitchen! Even if I'm just walking in for a drink of water, as soon as she sees me headed in there she will start pushing a chair in there. Then she will climb up on the chair and see what she can help with. She is so good at stirring things (she helped me make pumpkin pie tonight--my first time!). These pictures were taken a few days ago when she was helping to wash the dishes. Not sure why she kept sticking her tongue out, but it was cute!

On a side note, Nathan doesn't like it when I do her hair in a ponytail like this....he thinks it looks too much like Steven Segal Ü

Frozen In Time

My heart hurts each time I look at the pictures from this little photo shoot.
First, because she's so gorgeous and precious and I can't believe she's mine.
And second, because they came so close to being the last pictures I ever got to take of her.
