May!

Love these giggles!

Hanging out in her crib while daddy puts in a ceiling fan. Wearing her big brother's t-shirt.

The famous "Mowgley Walk". She is soooooo fast when she does this! She runs like a half wolf, half gazelle creature!
Deacon claims the gash on her forehead came from his toenail as he was trying to jump over her. I believe him.

To help with the wound on her forehead (that was already two days old at this time), Deacon climbed into my stash, found a band aid, unwrapped it and put it on her----right across her hair! It was more painful to remove than the actual sore underneath I think.

Love-Love-Love this shot. Her hair looks so cute flipped out!

Fuzzy hair from blanket rides on Deacons blee-blee.
Sooooo cute in the bath tub. She sucks on washrags like nobody's business! You'd think we give her nothing to drink all day.

Peek-a-boo!

I love that outrageous flower.

Lunchmeat (above) is not so messy.
Sloppy Joes are a different story!

First time swimming. She was in there for awhile and it got cold!

The Dive

Sometimes after I put Adelaide down with her bottle, she drinks it all and wants more before she falls asleep. So I go in there and get her bottle, I leave the door open so she knows I'm coming back. She'll stand up (while holding on the the rail of her crib) and either wait patiently or cry. Either way, as soon as she sees me come around the corner of the hallway with her new bottle (still another good 12 steps from her room and crib) she will dive down on to her mattress and snuggle her blanket with a smile and wait. She's so happy to get another bottle. But it's funny because she dives down and just waits there on her tummy (smiling). So I always have to flip her over on her back and hand her the bottle and then she gets a big old grin and starts drinking it.

Does that make sense? It's really funny. Now Callie knows what I'm talking about because Addy did it to her while I was away at my Power of Moms Retreat.

Treasures

Searching for 'buried' treasure.....buried in ice. It didn't take long for it to melt.

Adelaide is so adorable

Adelaide is so adorable. She's very playful and cute. She loves to put on a show for daddy when he comes home. She'll spin around in circles and make herself dizzy, she puts her head on the floor and her bum in the air and pushes herself around like a human wheelbarrow, she loves to giggle and laugh.

She is a snuggler! With people and things. Sometimes she will just flop down on our fuzzy, high pile carpet and caress it with her head or hands. When we came back from our camping trip, I removed the pillow cases to wash them and tossed our pillows on the floor. She repeatedly went and flopped down on them and just laid there. She loves to snuggle on your shoulder too.

Whenever I am in the kitchen, she HAS to be between me and the counter, and she will just maneuver herself right in there while stomping on my toes. If I step to the left, she wiggles over to get back between me and the counter. If I move to the right, same thing. If I do it too often, she cries.

Cleaning the Tub

When Deacon was a toddler, it was hard enough to remind ourselves to keep the bathroom door closed so he'd stay out of the toilet. With Adelaide, we have to worry about ourselves AND Deacon. He really is pretty good about closing the door when he goes to the bathroom, but when he doesn't---she is right in there with him. And sometimes, he just lets her in on purpose:

He just recently has become fixated with cleaning using our baby wipes or some antibacterial wipes I keep in the bathroom. On this day, he used them to go over the entire tub surround in my bathroom. At least Addy was patiently sucking on shampoo bottles and not splashing in the toilet this time.

Gimme that!
With Grandma and Aftyn at Eatser

Yes. I took a bazillion shots in this outfit.

It's amazing what a little dog drool can do to style your hair ;)

These are her last pictures at Grandma Jo's house before we moved.

She was just starting to figure out opening the Tupperware cupboard to play.

I love this picture below where she is sprawled out. She had started to crawl towards me when she saw the camera, but her hand was on a tupperware lid and it slipped out from under her and she went down on her belly. But it didn't phase her!

She loves to look at books.
Dad rides and stories!
